The 23rd Annual Police-Community Fun Day and 1st Mississauga Harmony Conference Successfully Concluded in 2024

The 23rd Annual Police-Community Fun Day and the 1st Mississauga Harmony Conference were grandly held at the Mississauga Chinese Centre (888 Dundas St E, Mississauga, ON) from September 14 to 15, 2024. The event was graced by the presence of officials from all three levels of government, adding to the celebration.

Organized by the Mississauga Chinese Business Association, this annual community event aims to foster police-community interaction, enhance community cohesion, and celebrate the harmonious integration of Mississauga’s diverse cultures.

The event featured a variety of activities, including the Mississauga Food Festival, mini concerts, all-day live performances, themed food and drink exhibitions, and a themed lantern display. In addition to the rich cultural activities, various departments from the Peel Regional Police (such as the Drone Unit, Bomb Squad, Rappel Team, and K9 Unit) set up booths to showcase their daily work. They also provided information and souvenirs on online safety, anti-bullying, home and road safety. The Fire Department, St. John Ambulance, as well as representatives from various community organizations and businesses, also participated, offering interactive experiences for the public.
